Close enough to get there tomorrow.
Poolinspec is run from Burleigh Waters, roughly in the middle of the coast, so nowhere on the Gold Coast is a long trip. That is the whole reason we can usually be at your pool within 24 hours of your call.
One inspector, so the diary is simple
Rob does every inspection himself. There is no dispatch queue and no subcontractor to wait on, so when you book a time that is the time, and the person who answers your questions on the phone is the person who turns up.
That matters most when a date is already locked in. Settlements, lease starts and auction dates do not move because an inspection was hard to schedule, so those get priority when we set the week.
What the travel does not change
The price is the same wherever you are on the coast. Inspections start from $100 + GST whether the pool is in Coolangatta or Hope Island, and we do not add a call-out fee for the far ends of the run.
If your property sits outside the areas listed below, call and ask. The list is the ground we cover regularly, not a fence.

Backyard pools, resort pools, and everything between.
The coast is not all backyard pools, and the rules change with the property. These are the three we are called to most.
Houses and townhouses
A pool that serves a single household is a non-shared pool. Its Form 23 certificate lasts two years, which is why most owners only think about it when they sell or lease.
Apartment blocks, resorts and body corporate pools
A pool shared between two or more dwellings is a shared pool, and its certificate runs for one year rather than two. We inspect them across the coast for committees, building managers and agents, and everything goes to the committee in writing for their records.
Holiday lets and short stays
Letting a property with a pool, even for a weekend, puts it in the same position as any other lease: the guest has to be given a valid pool safety certificate. Hosts along the beachfront and in the canals tend to find this out late, so it is worth checking the certificate date before the season rather than during it.
Tell us the address and we'll confirm a time that suits.
